We've launched a new field to track status at the Tactic level - Tactic Status.
Shopperations allows for multiple tactics inside a single event. The reality of executing a large scale event is that individual tactics may have different statuses. One contract may be signed while another could still be changed or canceled. Now you will be able to report on committed versus uncommitted spend with specificity at the tactic level.
Tactic Status field replaces the Tactic Final Billed toggle. Now tactics can be marked as:
- Uncommitted
- Committed
- Final Billed
Tactic statuses are intended to be managed individually and can be edited at any time, but there are some instances where Tactic Status will be automatically sync if you change your Event's status.
- When an Event is moved to Committed Status, all tactics will move to Committed Status
- When an Event is moved to Finalized Status, all tactics will move to Final Billed status
- When an Event is put in Cancelled Status, all tactics will move to Cancelled Status
Important - Cancelled tactic status is only used when an Event is in Cancelled status. If your Event is still happening but a specific tactic is to be canceled, you will need to delete the tactic from the event.
