Efficiently duplicate several events—across fiscal years or retailer pages—with more flexibility and precision than ever.
1. Select the Events to Copy
-
On the Events page, select the checkboxes next to the events you want to duplicate.
-
Use the gray header’s checkbox to Select All on the page.
2. Launch Batch Copy
-
In the batch actions toolbar, click Copy Events.
3. Configure the Copy Options
In the copy dialog, set up your event copies:
-
Destination Details: Choose the new Fiscal Year, Team, or Retailer/Page as needed.
-
Fields to Copy: Select what information to include from the original events:
Category Includes Tactic Details Vendor, Tactic Description, RMC, PO, Custom Fields Notes & Files Event Notes, Event Files/Links, Tactic Notes, Tactic Files Funding Budget Name, Allocated Budget, PO (enabled if copying within the same team/fiscal year) Event Brief Background, Objectives, Strategy, Tags, Job Number, Deliverables -
Some fields (like Vendor and Tactic Description) are pre‑checked by default.
-
Use “Select All” to include everything.
-
Incompatible fields (e.g., funding when changing teams or years) are automatically grayed out.
-
-
Tactic-Level Date Editing: Adjust each tactic’s dates with precision:
-
Before: Tactic dates shifted uniformly when changing event start date—leading to misalignments (e.g., shifting +90 days from Q1 to Q2 using a generic shift caused incorrect dates).
-
Now: Use the Smart Date Picker for each tactic. You can apply fiscal shortcuts like Quarter, Period, Half, or Full Year, and the event-level dates are then automatically “rolled up” from those tactic dates.
-
4. Finalize and Copy
-
Review your selections and configurations.
-
Click Copy to create the new events—each will open on its individual Overview page, ready for any further edits.
