Phased Data Export is available in the Report Engine and gives you a new way to review allocated budget across financial periods tied to your fiscal calendar.

What changed in the Report Engine
The Report Engine homepage has been updated, but the tools you already use are still available.
- Custom Reports takes you to the report engine experience you’ve used previously
- Existing Reports takes you to your report folders
- Reports in the left navigation also takes you to report folders
- Create New Report opens Build Mode, which is also available from the left navigation
Where to find Phased Data Export
From the Report Engine homepage, select Preview & Export in the Phased Data section.
You can also access reporting tools from the left navigation, depending on whether you want to open existing reports, create a new report, or work with phased data.
How Phased Data Export works
Phasing is based on the Tactic Type field.
For tactics with a Tactic Type of Coupon:
- 100% of the allocated budget is applied to the first financial period of the tactic
For tactics with a Tactic Type of Non-Coupon:
- allocated budget is spread across financial periods based on the number of tactic days that fall within each period
How to export phased data
- Open Phased Data Export
- Select the fiscal year or years you want to review
- Export the data in XLSX or CSV format
The current fiscal year is selected by default, and you can choose up to 3 fiscal years in the export flow. The export is especially useful as a raw data set for additional analysis in Excel, including pivot tables.
This initial release is designed to provide a practical starting point for phased reporting.
At this time:
- the export includes a limited set of fields
- custom tactic brand/product fields are not included
