Overview
As an Organization Admin, you can tailor the Event – Brief tab by enabling default fields and creating custom fields to capture additional information unique to your organization. These fields also appear in the Brief tab of the View/Edit Event sidebar on the Tactics page.
🧩 Default Fields on the Brief Tab
By default, the following fields are included and cannot be removed:

Background (renamed from Event Description)

Objectives
-
Strategy
-
Deliverables
➕ How to Create a Custom Field

Go to Organization Settings > Customizable Fields tab.

Expand the Brief section.

Click Add Custom Field.

In the Create Custom Field form:

Enter the Field Name.

Select a Field Type:
-
Text
-
Paragraph
-
Number
-
Date
-
Single Select
-
Multiple Select
-
Toggle
-
-

Click Create Field to save.
✅ Custom fields are immediately visible on the Brief tab of all events.
✏️ How to Edit a Custom Field

Click the three dots next to a custom field.

Select Edit.
-
You can update the Field Name and Field Type.

A warning will appear:
“Warning! Making edits to custom field options will update existing entries.”
🗑️ How to Remove a Custom Field

Click the three dots next to a custom field.
-
Select Remove.
-
Confirm deletion:
“Warning! Deleting this field will cause IRREVERSIBLE DATA LOSS in event(s) and report(s). Are you sure you want to delete this field?”
