Reconciliation is the process of comparing Actuals from Finance to your Allocated Budget by Tactic - so that Leadership understands what has already hit the P&L and what is still to come in future periods.
Event Managers Review Latest Actuals & Reconciles
The job of the Event Manager is to reconcile - Review the latest actuals compared to the Allocated Budget amount you entered.
- Go to the Tactics Page (filter to events you own if necessary)
- Start with filtering by Tactic End Period to narrow your view to current and near future timing
- Look at the Actual Spend field column to see what, if any, actuals were loaded this month for these programs
- For tactics with Actuals, you need to determine if the Allocated Budget needs to be adjusted up or down based on the latest actuals you are seeing.
